The rain won’t be of any help.
強く降り注いでも…
Even if it pours incessantly,
心の火傷は治まりそうにない
the burn of my heart doesn’t come at peace.
傘の骨が曲がって
My umbrella gets crooked,
ずぶ濡れになったって
but even if I end up soaked,
この想いは消えやしないんだ
these feelings won’t disappear.

モノクロのこの街は
I cry, while the monochromatic town
息を潜め　泣いているよ
conceals my breath.
ほっとできる
I was just searching, somewhere,
暖かな色をどこかに
for a warm color
探していた
that could’ve make me feel relieved.

声がかすれるくらい
I kept screaming, from here,
私は　ここから叫び続けた
to the point of losing my voice.
人を愛するための
It’s the muscle damage,
筋肉のダメージ
needed in order to love someone.
たとえ　信じること
Even if there was a barrier,
邪魔する障壁があっても
preventing me from believing,
ボロボロの身体(からだ)
I guess I’d just lash it out
ムチ打つだろう
with my worn out body.

風は涙を弾(はじ)いて
The wind flips my tears,
指で拭ってくれるよ
and wipes them with its fingers.
それでもこの雨　止みそうにもない
But still, the rain doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop.
サイドウォークのカフェで
Letting my pain go past,
痛みをやり過ごせば
in a cafe near the sidewalk,
あなたのこと　呼び止めなかった
I didn’t call you to halt.

味気ないこの恋は
This wrenched love does nothing
体力ばかり使っているよ
but consume physical strenght.
ストレートな方法で
I just wanted to convey
リアルなもの
something real
伝えたかった
straightforwardly.

声がかすれるくらい

愛しさを見せよう
shedding red blood.
たとえ　この世界で
Even if the whole world won’t hear my voice,
気づかれない声　埋もれても
and it’ll end up buried,
そうあなた一人　伝わればいい
it would be okay if it’ll reach only you.

*Literally it would be more something like “To the point my voice would crack”, but since I don’t like how it sounds and it doesn’t affect the meaning (The point is still “shouting with all one’s voice, at the top of one’s lungs”) I made it like this!
